Ms. Minyard joined Byrd & Associates, PLC in January 2001. She was born in Tennessee but raised in Ann Arbor Michigan. Teresa lived in Northern California for twelve years, working as a financial assistant for  a real estate developer, securities brokerage firm and a university. When her family moved to Tennessee in 1994, Teresa worked from her home as a Court Transcriptionist for Franklin Court Reporters.


Teresa earned her paralegal diploma in 2003 and is a member of the litigation team and works closely with clients for trial preparation. Having personal knowledge of the legal system in Williamson County, Teresa is uniquely qualified to offer clients information and peace of mind.

Ms. Ashworth is the Office Administrator for Ms. Hood. She began working in the legal field in 2013 and is a vital member of Ms. Hood's staff. Shianne is also a licensed risk advisor and maintains the following licensures: Series 6 Securities License, Series 63 Securities License, Life Insurance License, Accident and Health Insurance License, Property and Casualty Insurance License and TN Notary Public.

Shianne was born in  Western North Carolina. She relocated to Franklin after graduating from East Tennessee State University as a Roan Scholar in 2013. She is an integral member of our litigation team.
